Overview
Octet Lab builds iOS and Android apps for startups, product teams, and operators who need a reliable mobile product in production — not a prototype that stalls in TestFlight. Our delivery cadence covers scoping, architecture, core implementation, QA cycles, and App Store and Google Play submission.
We develop cross-platform with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript so a single codebase serves both platforms without compromising UX on either side. Native modules are added where they earn their weight: deep links, biometric auth, background tasks, push notifications, or payment SDKs. Firebase, Clerk, Supabase, and OneSignal show up often in our builds.
Our clients are based in Lebanon, the United Kingdom, the MENA region, Europe, and North America. Engagements are fully remote, with weekly builds shared through Expo preview links and TestFlight so stakeholders can try every feature before it ships to production users.
Work ranges from new MVPs built from a product brief, to rescue engagements where a half-finished codebase needs stabilization, to long-term product partnerships where we own mobile delivery for a product team that is focused on backend or growth.

Do you build native iOS and Android or cross-platform apps?
We default to cross-platform with React Native and Expo because it ships faster and stays maintainable across iOS and Android. Where a feature needs true native behavior — high-performance graphics, deep native integrations — we write platform modules in Swift or Kotlin so UX never drops to the lowest common denominator.
Do you work with clients in Lebanon, the UK, or remotely?
Yes. We deliver mobile apps for clients in Lebanon, the United Kingdom, the broader MENA region, Europe, and North America, all fully remote. You get the same release cadence and QA discipline regardless of timezone.
Can you take over a mobile app that is already in development?
Yes. We audit the existing codebase, document the current architecture, stabilize releases, and continue delivery without forcing a rewrite. If a rewrite is actually cheaper long term, we will say so and price it honestly.
Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?
Yes. We prepare store listings, screenshots, privacy declarations, and review notes, then shepherd the app through Apple and Google review cycles. We handle rejections, iterate, and resubmit until the app is live.
How long does a typical mobile app project take?
A focused MVP with 3 to 5 core features typically ships in 10 to 14 weeks including store submission. Larger products with payments, messaging, or heavy offline flows typically run 16 to 24 weeks with phased releases instead of one big launch.
Do you support the app after it launches?
Yes. Post-launch retainers cover crash monitoring, OS version compatibility, store-listing updates, feature releases, and performance tuning so the app keeps its rating as usage grows.
